British Science Week at The Hub

On Friday 16th March students at The Hub took a well-earned break from their exam revision and enjoyed a morning of Science in celebration of British Science Week.

Competition was at a high as students took part in a bridge building competition. Armed with only a roll of sellotape and twenty paper straws, Redwood group were able to construct a bridge which could withhold the weight of five textbooks!

Meanwhile, on the other side school, students were getting messy in the English and Science rooms making their own slime – or ‘unicorn poo’ as Maple group affectionately named their pink and sparkly slime.

Overall students had fun-filled morning of discovery and exploration all around the school. What a great way to end a hard-working week!
